All About Me
Hi there! My name is Nicholas Busuttil, and I am an independent illustrator and animator. As a child and even as an adult, I have always loved cartoons. Shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dexter's Laboratory served as huge inspirations for me, sparking my lifelong interest in drawing. During the early 2010s, I discovered a small-scale animation program on my Nintendo DSi called Flipnote Studio. I have tons of fond memories of my cousin and I coming up with all kinds of wacky stories that we would then turn into cartoons. We had nothing but laughs during the design process, and that feeling of satisfaction that came from our family members loving what we had made fueled my desire to continue creating and honing my craft. This led me to discover my true passion was to become an animator.
Since then, I have made many different art pieces over the years and have graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology as a Fine Arts student. I received my bachelor's degree in May of 2025. I have also participated in an animation internship at Momomoon and have taken a pre-college course at the School of Visual Arts for animation. I have big plans and ambitions for the future, with my ultimate goal being to someday have my own animated television show. I am currently working on a show called "Beesums" about three aliens named Beezy, Beezo, and Humphreys that draws from real-life experiences and aims to be a nonsensical comedy, along with many other projects. With my consistent dedication to the arts, I am excited to take on new challenges and make a meaningful contribution to the world of animation.
